心靈彩釉繪畫課大師班

面紗畫(Veil painting) 是一種藝術表達的靜心方式，達到內在療癒的效果，消除壓力和焦慮，調節放緩呼吸脈搏。

這種多層彩釉的畫法需要全神貫注、付出耐性、內在自省，令色彩自情調中產生形相，任由物象除除呈露。

此畫法七十多年前由歐洲畫家療癒大師Leane Collot D'Herbois發明，他由人智學始祖Rudolf Steiner的學說得到啟發。

參加這次的畫療課：

• 認識光與暗之間的色彩基本法則；

• 享受創作過程，透過下筆著色渲染，訴說內心情懷，藉美艷的釉彩釋放積壓的情緒；

• 掌握紗層畫技法，收到啟發鼓舞日後繼續探索發展；

• 帶著多幅作品回去紀念保存。

導師John Stolfo 是自學有成的畫家，1950年生於美國，年青時當海員，23歲那年得了轉化生命的經驗，翌年接觸到人智學（Anthroposophy），認識到Rudolf Steiner的學說。

過去33年，他創作了大量建築物和室內空間的著色彩畫和大幅小幅作品，亦向各種年齡的學生傳授畫工；2008後居港。

Veil painting is primarily used as an artistic/meditative practice. It is a form of inner healing for stress and anxiety... calming and relaxing the rhythmical pulsing of one's breath and blood.

This method of painting with coloured veils takes patience for reflection and patience in doing. Form content appears, arising out of a mood of colour.

It relies on the creative principle of 'becoming' slowly building up veil by veil.

Veil painting originated over 70 years ago, developed by a European artist and therapist Leane Collot D'Herbois (1907-1999) who was inspired by the illuminating ideas of Rudolf Steiner.

What will our learning about veil painting?

In our very brief afternoon session we'll learn of the fundamental laws of the colour world between light and darkness and of the method of veil painting. Through a few simple exercises we'll arrive at a more finished image which each participant can take home. Hopefully each will feel inspired to continue on their own.

John Stolfo, born in America 1950, is primarily a self-taught artist specializing in painting, he eventually turned professional age 40. After a life-altering spiritual experience age 23 as an ocean going sailor, he discovered a year later the ideas of Rudolf Steiner through Anthroposophy.

John's primary work, now in his 33rd year, is in the unique field of contemporary architectural 'colourizing' called lazure painting...'ensouling' architecture through colour.

He does studio art as well as teaching art primarily to adults. He resides in Hong Kong since 2008.
